Keith's Retirement

Keith transferred to the Fleet Reserve Association after 20 years of faithful Naval service on 30 September 2007. A traditional retirement ceremony, that quickly became rather non-traditional, was provided in his honor.

Keith Hale and the 501st.

Keith transferred to the Fleet Reserve Association after 20 years of faithful Naval service on 30 September 2007. Retirement ceremonies are time-honored traditions of our rich Naval Heritage. It's the nation's and Navy's expression of appreciation for a job "well done." The ceremony culminates a career of unselfish dedication, devotion to duty, and honorable service to one's country. It was a day of great significance, marking the end of a rewarding life within the World's Greatest Navy. It was also a day of many surprises.

A retirement ceremony steeped in tradition and flavored with Keith's personality was provided in his honor on:
